We need volunteers to make this event happen. Listed below are a few of the spots we need to fill. If you are interested in any of these positions, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject line of volunteer.
- Transportation - Driving coaches and players to and from the golf course for the players.
- Player Assistants - Various jobs on the day of the event.
- Caddies - Assisting on the driving range, loading/unloading clubs, etc.
- Spotters - There are a few holes where we need spotters to help the blind golfer's and their coaches locate balls off the fairways.
- Coaches - A few of the golfers traveling from across the country will need a coach. If you have never worked with a blind or visually impaired golfer, this will be a very memorable experience. The coach drives the cart, gives the golfer his club of choice, locates the ball, lines the golfer up for each shot, assists with stroke count, etc. Yes, this is very demanding and typically it is an individual who has played the game of golf at one point, but he/she does not have to be experienced.
