The Hall of Fame Classic at the World Golf Village will feature over 20 blind and visually impaired golfers from across the United States. These men and women will compete in a 36 hole stroke play tournament at the Slammer and Squire Golf Course. The tournament will feature players from ages 18 to 87 years young. This regional tournament will also feature several former National Champion Blind Golfers in competition. There are 3 sight categories B1 (totally blind), B2 (ability to recognize the shape of a hand to 20/600) and B3 (20/600 to acuity less than 20/200). All these players are members of the United States Blind Golf Association. The three day event begins with a junior clinic given by our blind golfers to get youth in the area interested in golf on October 7th followed a Pro Am event. Competition rounds will be played October 8 & 9.

If you can contribute financially to this event or volunteer during the event, please click on the links at the top of this page to get involved. This event will be the first of many upcoming Blind Golf tournaments here in Saint Augustine. The USBGA just announced the 2022 U.S. Open in April will be played in Saint Augustine. This event will bring blind golfers from around the world to compete for this major golf championship,

If you know a blind or visually impaired person who would like to compete or just get started and meet the players, please contact Dr. William Pease at willyrayspence@gmail.com. Let's GO Saint Augustine and make this event First Class!
